The Progene Bio Dengue NS1 Rapid Test is a lateral-flow immunochromatographic assay for the qualitative detection of the Dengue virus NS1 antigen in human whole blood, serum, or plasma. NS1 is a non-structural viral protein present from the earliest phase of infection, making this test an aid in the diagnosis of acute Dengue.
Because it detects viral antigen directly — not host antibodies — the NS1 test identifies Dengue during the first days of fever, well before IgM/IgG seroconversion. It has been validated against a leading commercial Dengue Ag ELISA using clinical specimens, supporting confident early-stage screening.
