Request a QuoteThe Progene Bio Dengue Combo Rapid Test Cassette is a lateral-flow immunochromatographic assay for the qualitative detection of Dengue virus NS1 antigen and IgG and IgM antibodies in human whole blood, serum, or plasma, as an aid in the diagnosis of dengue infections.
By combining NS1 antigen detection with IgG/IgM antibody detection in a single cassette, the test covers both the early viremic phase (NS1) and the later immune response (IgM/IgG). This gives clinicians a broader diagnostic window from day 1 of fever through the convalescent phase.
Interpretation of the IgM and IgG lines also helps distinguish primary dengue infection (IgM-dominant, early) from secondary infection (IgG-dominant, often with pre-existing IgG), supporting better clinical and epidemiological decisions.
